Our university´s Vice-President for International Relation´s and the First Mayor of Bayreuth are happy to welcome you!
The Welcome Centre supports you and your family in all administrative and practical matters regarding your visit or stay at the university and your relocation to Bayreuth.
We would like to contact you even before your arrival in Bayreuth so we can prepare your arrival and stay. Therefore, please register in our database:

ONLINE REGISTRATION
The personal data that you give us is only processed internally and used internally for the administration of the service we offer you, e.g. search for accommodation, search for places in kindergarden and school. With your registration you enable us to provide you with counselling services for whatever questions you might adress us with during your stay at Bayreuth University. Herewith we inform you that the Welcome Centre presently is changing its data processing system. We use a new software provided by the company QS Unisolution and use their servers to store your data. The storage of your data is hosted externally, yet according to German laws regulating data protection and data security. By registering in our database you implicitely agree to the external hosting of your data on the servers of QS Unisolution. If you do not agree to the external hosting, please refrain from registering online and contact the Welcome Centre via email: welcome-centre@uni-bayreuth.de |
Please only register if you are a post doc or a professor or a PhD student with a work contract and have received an invitation to Bayreuth University. Students please refer to the services of our International Office.
We kindly ask you to visit us soon upon your arrival in our office in the building of the Central University Administration (ZUV, basement floor, room 0.11.1). We would like to accompany your process of integration from the very beginning hand you our welcome package with useful information about the university and the city of Bayreuth.
